Medieval heroes and fairy tale creatures have nowhere left to hide now that the Dungeon Lord has finally made his debut – and he needs you to help him put his master plan into motion.

A console exclusive for the PlayStation®4 system, Dungeons 2 challenges players to assume the role of The Dungeon Lord and craft a network of terrifying dungeons, using its resources to fuel a campaign of terror against the forces of goodliness. Order your servant snots to do your bidding and fill your coffers with gold, amass an army of lurching minions and then head to the surface world of the humans to conquer The Overworld.

The Ultimate Evil is Coming to PlayStation®4

It’s hard work being evil. Between managing hordes of minions, fortifying your beloved dungeons, planning Overworld domination – not to mention ‘motivating’ those lazy snots, it can all seem a little much. As every good Dungeon Lord understands, knowing your way around your underworld kingdom is key to your survival so Kalypso Media has prepared a video pointing out some essential gameplay tips for Dungeons 2 success all wrapped in 100 seconds.

Dungeons 2 will be available exclusively for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system on the 24th May 2016 across North America and 27th May across Europe and Export territories and boasts an impressive collection of additional on-disc content including the “Pixieville”, “Morningwood”, “A Chance of Dragons”, “A Song of Sand and Fire” and “A Clash of Pumpkins” add-on packs, which add more skirmishes, missions and enemies for the Ultimate Evil to eviscerate.

Dungeons 2 PS®4 Launch Date Announced

First there was the underworld with dungeons and those pesky heroes, then evil extended its bony fingers to ‘Evilfy’ the green and pleasant overworld (all those poor unicorns…). Now, a new dawn of terror approaches as the Dungeon Lord unleashes its minions to do battle on console. This spring, gamers will be able to experience the unique mix of classic dungeon simulation and real-time strategy gameplay as Kalypso Media’s Dungeons 2 makes its console debut exclusively for PlayStation®4 on 22nd April in the UK and Export territories.

First Dungeons 2 DLC Add-on ‘A Chance of Dragons’

The dragons have entrenched themselves in an old castle and you must summon your evil might to face the oncoming threat of a dragon invasion. In three all new skirmish missions you must push forward into the dragon’s castle stronghold, hunt magical dragon eggs, face off against powerful mages and finally, challenge a dragon of immeasurable power to restore your evil dominion across the land. And of course – win massive, massive amounts of treasure.

With over 10 hours of gameplay across three fiery missions, ‘A Chance of Dragons’ brings a whole new set of enemies and challenges to even the most seasoned of Dungeon Lords. The ‘Chance of Dragons’ add-on can be downloaded today via Steam and the Kalypso Launcher for £2.49 / €2.99 / $3.99.
